FATdrop webhead Alex is on the panel at this month’s Independent Label Showcase in Brighton (UK) on 26th June, so pop in if you’re nearby. Alex will be giving advice to bands and independent labels on how best to utilise the internet for marketing and promoting music; and then we’ll all be around in the bar afterwards.

The Independent Label Scheme is run by FATdrop friend Jonny Reggae and is an advice and consultancy service for independent music businesses and start-ups. June’s event – ‘Jumpstart: The Art of Digital Marketing’ also features Demo Clash! where artists can get their demo judged by a team of experts, and live music from Doll & The Kicks.

The event is on at The Joogleberry Playhouse, Manchester Street, Brighton, Thursday 26th June, 7pm til midnight, and it’s free to get in. For anyone that can’t come down, we’ll sum up the best advice of the night here in the next couple of weeks.
